Home visits for your dog

The walker comes to your home 1 to 3 times a day: food, water, a short outing for the toilet and company. Your dog stays in its own space.

  • 30 or 60 minutes a visit
  • 1 to 3 visits a day, at the times you choose
  • One report per visit

Who it is for

Adult dogs who are fine alone for a few hours, and older or recovering dogs who need company more than miles.

What a visit looks like

  1. Arrives at the booked time and checks in on the phone.

  2. Serves the food and changes the water, as your dog's profile says.

  3. Takes them outside for a short toilet break.

  4. Gives medication, if any.

  5. Plays and keeps them company. With anxious dogs, stays calm until they relax.

  6. Has a look round the home: doors, windows, lights, plants, post.

  7. Checks out and sends the report with photos before leaving.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a visit?

Usually €10 to €18 for 30 minutes and €15 to €25 for 60 minutes. Each walker sets their own price and you see the total before booking.

How many visits a day?

From 1 to 3, at the times you choose. For a dog alone all day, two or three short visits are usually better than one long one.

What happens on a visit?

Food and water, a short outing for the toilet, medication if needed, play and company, and a check round the house. Before leaving, the walker sends the report with photos.

Do I meet the walker first?

It depends on the walker. Some offer a free first meeting before the first booking, so you meet, the walker meets your dog and you agree on keys and routine: it says so on their profile. You can always ask questions through messages before you book.
